Backend systems support

client: author,therapist, speaker, educator

the problem

The inbox in particular had become a persistent source of overwhelm—emails were getting lost, delayed, or carried mentally for too long, creating stress and decision fatigue.

I stepped in to support through a combination of inbox clean-up, communication system design, and real-time body doubling to help convert stuck tasks into completed action without adding to cognitive load.

An ongoing support container was created to help reduce administrative overload and restore clarity around day-to-day communication and task execution.

this included streamlining an autoresponder to clearly set communication expectations, reducing inbox volume, and working alongside Alex in real time to complete tasks that otherwise would have stayed on the mental backlog.

the results

The result was a noticeable shift toward more ease, less time lost in email overwhelm, and a reduction in the guilt and pressure associated with delayed responses. Tasks moved from “hanging over” the system to being resolved in motion, with less friction and more clarity in how communication was held.
